Fast/Cross Track Program to Systems Engineering and Management

The Fast/Cross Track program is designed to accelerate well-qualified undergraduate students at UT Dallas so that the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree can be earned in approximately five years of full-time study. When Fast/Cross Track students graduate with a bachelor’s degree, they are automatically admitted to graduate school at UT Dallas without needing to take the Graduate Records Exam (GRE). Qualified students may take up to 15 graduate semester credit hours to be used to complete the baccalaureate degree and also to satisfy requirements for the master’s degree if these courses are completed with grades of B or better.

The Systems Engineering and Management (SEM) MS degree program offers options to take graduate courses while completing a bachelor’s degree. Students enrolled in Jonsson School undergraduate programs such as biomedical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering may request admission.
