Overview

Dr. Alix Minden , P.E., PMP is a consultant and owner at Lifecycle Management Innovations, a consulting firm specializing in Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Strategic Product Development. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Tri-State University. He earned three Master of Science degrees in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, and Management, all from Southern Methodist University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Systems Engineering at Southern Methodist University. He is a Project Management Institute (PMI)-certified Project Management Professional and a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Alix has held various management and engineering positions at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Lockheed Martin Space Systems, and multiple former divisions of Dana Holding Corporation. In addition to supporting The University of Texas at Dallas, he is an adjunct faculty member of the School of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide Campus, where he teaches various project management courses. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Southern Methodist University in the School of Engineering’s Engineering Management and Information Systems (EMIS) department, where he teaches a systems engineering graduate course in systems lifecycle analysis. Finally, in an effort to give back to the community, Alix leads an international engineering organization, Sigma Phi Delta, where he has served on the professional board since 2002 and CEO since 2006.
