Fast Track/Cross Track Program

The Fast Track program is designed to accelerate well-qualified undergraduate students at UT Dallas so that the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree can be earned in approximately five years of full-time study. When Fast Track students graduate with a bachelor’s degree, they are automatically admitted to graduate school at UT Dallas without needing to take the Graduate Records Exam (GRE). Qualified students may take up to 15 graduate semester credit hours to be used to complete the baccalaureate degree and also to satisfy requirements for the master’s degree if these courses are completed with grades of B or better.

Due to the fact that Systems Engineering is multidisciplinary, cross tracking from other engineering fields offered at UTD is allowed and you are encouraged to reach out to the Master’s Graduate Advisor for more details on how this works.
